tripollar RF, mesotherapy and other techniques
Hair papilla is connected to a blood vessel, which under the influence of carbon dioxide is being extended, nourished and ventilated. In consequence THE MATRIX IS GROWING AND HAIR FOLLICLES ARE ACTIVATED. After 10 treatments a substantial density of hair has been demonstrated, making it stronger and healthier.
There are many factors responsible for incorrect work of blood vessels. One of them is the DYSFUNCTION OF THE BLOOD circulation in the lower eyelid , which causes shadows under eyes. Oxygenation of this skin area activates cells , what causes the formation of new blood vessels and activation of the already existing ones. That makes the skin healthier, fresher and younger.
The reaction of skin to carbon dioxide injections is inflammation, which causes THE PRODUCTION OF ELASTIN AND COLLAGEN. Skin remodelling starts with the first treatment, collagen fibres shrink, microcirculation undergoes improvement, nutrition and reconstruction of cells is improved , skin is smooth and flexible.
Carboxytherapy weakens the fat cells by barotrauma during feeding with gas. Carbon Dioxide in human organism partly converts to carbonic acid, which MECHANICALLY DAMAGES AND DISSOLVES FAT CELLS. Lymphatic drainage and oxygen circulation in treated area are increased, what after full session leads to body shaping and local fat tissue reduction. CARBOXYTHERAPY is the only method which has an influence on every factor responsible for the formation of cellulite.
Scars and stretch marks removal process occurs gradually, SKIN REGENERATES WITH EACH SESSION. Carbon dioxide is applied under the surface of a scar/stretch mark, what causes the extension of the capillary to facilitate blood flow. Circulatory system interprets CO₂ influx as an oxygen deficit. Oxygen in high amount is provided into the treated area with blood. That increases blood circulation.
Loss of flexibility is a natural process of ageing, with which carboxytherapy treatment gives brilliant effects in revitalization of hard to reach places like abdomen and arms. Fibroblasts are stimulated to produce collagen and elastin. We observe the augmented blood flow, oxygen and nutrients availability , increase of local microcirculation and cells regeneration. After a full session the skin remodelling begins, collagen fibres shrink, impacting the skin quality, firmness and flexibility.
Carboxytherapy involves the injection of medical grade carbon dioxide gas (CO2) into the skin. It can be performed on any area of the body and is ideally suited to the treatment of stretch marks, cellulite, local fat deposits, wrinkle reduction and treatment of dark circles under the eyes.
Carbon dioxide, a colourless, odourless gas is injected into the skin and diffuses. As a result, the body, in attempting to correct the imbalance of oxygen/carbon dioxide levels, increases the blood flow, delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the area, important growth factors are released to improve collagen. It improves skin elasticity, circulation and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, aids collagen repair, and destroys localised fatty deposits.
Studies have indicated Carboxytherapy improves:
When carboxytherapy is used to treat stretch marks and scars, it's relatively painless. This is because scar tissue doesn't have nerves. You may feel an itching sensation as the stretch marks are distended during the procedure. The itchiness should resolve in about five minutes.
Results are delivered over time- usually between 4-10 treatments 1-2 weeks apart depending on the indication and desired outcome. Once achieved results may be long term or maintenance treatments will be recommended. Depending on the treatment indication and lifestyle factors.
Immediately after treatment, there may be some skin redness and swelling, with some tenderness which is expected usually settles over a period of days. There may be bruising, depending on the area treated.
Treatment is not recommended if you are suffering from any skin infection in or near the treatment area or are unwell in any way (even a cold)
If you are taking any medicines which affect bleeding, such as aspirin or warfarin
If you are taking steroids or have autoimmune disease
If you have any bleeding disorders
If you suffer from a poorly controlled medical condition
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
If you have active acne
If you have a previously been treated with a permanent injectable implant
If you have suffered from keloid scars
Injections on the face can trigger the cold sore virus. If you are a sufferer, you must advise your clinician in advance of treatment. If you are planning to attend a special event when a bruise, should it occur, would be unacceptable to you. Some over the counter medicines and supplements can also affect bleeding (make you more prone to bruising) as can alcohol- which should be avoided the day before and after treatment. Vigorous exercise, sun exposure, sun beds, sauna should be avoided for 48 hours, or as advised by your clinician, after treatment. If, having had treatment, you are at all concerned about symptoms you were not expecting or not happy with, please contact the practitioner for advice. If necessary an appointment will be made for you to be seen.
Do NOT consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment (alcohol may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising).
Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.
Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area.
During each session, you’ll get a series of injections using a needle (without numbing cream). The injections can be given at different depths — from 1 to 4 millimetres into your skin — depending on what condition you’re having treated. Your practitioner may place the needle into your skin at an angle, or flick their wrist very quickly while injecting. Each injection may only place a tiny dose of the CO2 into your skin. You’ll probably need several carboxytherapy sessions to get the desired effect. You should expect to return to the clinic between 3 to 15 times. At first, you’ll get the injections every 7 to 10 days. If your skin starts to improve, the treatments will be stretched out to once every two weeks or once a month.
Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours
Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excess swelling
If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour
Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling
Use Arnica Gel to help the bruising and swelling
